At Virgin Media, we take the welfare of your little ones seriously. That's why we've given you the option to set a PIN to access Sky Cinema and Sports content:
- No worries – if you’re a Sky Sports subscriber you can watch Sky Sports on the go with the Sky Sports app! Follow the action from anywhere in the UK with a WiFi, 3G or 4G connection, on a compatible laptop, tablet or mobile – you can register up to two devices. ¥ Or watch on the big screen and let the app’s second screen companion.
- You can get the Sky Sports app on your tablet, laptop or mobile phone, and it'll work anywhere you've got WiFi, 3G, 4G or a broadband connection in the UK. To start watching, just download the Sky Sports app and select the Virgin Media logo before you enter your login details.
1. First, log in to My Virgin Media.
2. Go to MY PRODUCTS and choose SKY DEVICES.
Already a Sky Cinema or Sky Sports subscriber? Virgin Media customers in the Republic of Ireland can now watch their favourite Sky channels live or On Demand whenever they like on their PC or Mac. How to watch online: 1. Go to skysports.com. Click Virgin Media Ireland. How to use the Sky Sports app. If you subscribe to Sky Sports through Virgin Media, you can watch Sky Sports on the move with the Sky Sports app on your iPhone, iPad, and most Android phones or tablets. Once you start playing content through the Sky Sports app your device will automatically be registered. What you can watch depends on your Virgin Media subscription. Visit Virgin Media’s website to find out more about Sky Sports subscription packages. You can also manage your subscription by contacting the Virgin Media team or through your Virgin Media TV box.
3. Select SKY PIN to create a new 4 digit PIN. A tad forgetful? Here's a handy tip - use the same PIN as your Virgin TV service.
4. You can also set age-restricted PIN controls. So you'll know that grown-up content won't be seen by any little eyes.
Once you've set your PIN, you'll need it every time you watch Sky Cinema (unless it's Sky Cinema Family or Sky Cinema Disney).
If you’ve forgotten your Sky Cinema / Sky Sports PIN – no hassle.
1. Log in to My Virgin Media.
2. Go to MY PRODUCTS and select SKY DEVICES.
3. Select SKY PIN and then choose the SEND REMINDER option.
4. Check your My Virgin Media email address and you should have your PIN. Magic!
If you've forgotten your Sky Cinema and Sky Sports PIN, or just want to change it, you can do this on My Virgin Media.
Watch Sky Sports On Virgin Gold
Virgin Media customers with Sky Movies or Sky Sports subscriptions can now log in to the Sky Movies and Sky Sports apps for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and watch their Sky Movies and Sky Sports channels online using their Virgin Media accounts.
Virgin Media customers can now take their Sky Sports channels on the go and access Sky’s rich sports data and analysis services for the first time.
Highlights for sports lovers include Sky Sport’s cutting edge second screen functions, including alternating F1 driver camera views, ball-by-ball hawk eye data feeds for cricket fans and player action heat maps for football fans and much more on the Sky Sports iPad app.
Customers with Sky Movies subscriptions can view all 11 Sky Movies channels live and watch over 800 films on demand, via their iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, or on the Sky Movies website. Virgin Media customers can also benefit from Sky Movies cinema finder tool for new releases, and can add upcoming screenings to their personal calendars at the touch of a button, read expert reviews and watch the latest trailers.
Scott Kewley, director of digital entertainment, Virgin Media added: “With the most sports channels, better deals and now more ways to enjoy Sky content we’re cementing our position as the home of sport on TV, at home or on the go.'
The news comes after Virgin Media became the most comprehensive provider of top sports TV in the UK, by adding Sky Sports 3 HD, Sky Sports 4 HD and Sky Sports F1 HD to its channel list, which also includes BT Sport, with Sky Sports 5 and Sky Sports 5 HD available from launch on August 12th.
Virgin Media is also shaking up the sports TV market offering unprecedented savings on Sky Sports, with its Season Ticket offering ten months access to all six Sky Sports channels for £150 upfront, giving customers a 40% saving compared to paying via a monthly subscription.*
Virgin Media’s Season Ticket is available until the end of football transfer window at the end of August.
